Perry Kotval,

Financial Analyst

As a financial analyst at Galileo Planning Group, Perry provides investment advice, financial modeling, research & other analytical support to Skip Wise -- one of the firm’s three principals.

His interest in finance dates back to his college days. He received a B.A in Economics from the University of Colorado, Boulder (1985), then went on to earn an M.A. in Economics (1989) and an M.B.A. in Finance & Accounting (1990), both from UC Davis. Since graduating, he has been actively involved in financial planning, taxes and investments in a variety of capacities, and along the way became first an Enrolled Agent (EA) and later a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. Prior to joining Skip in 2004, his experience included several years preparing tax returns as an EA and over 10 years as founder and owner of Sonoma Capital Management, a boutique firm providing investment management services.

Perry and his wife Katy live in Half Moon Bay, where they enjoy the ocean views, friendly neighbors, mid-week bocce ball league, great restaurants and some casual weekend tennis.
