Joseph “Jay” Clasgens, III; Principal

Jay has spent the last 26 years as a financial planner, through economic conditions good and bad, in markets boom and bust.  He has seen how important are the operating principles upon which Galileo was founded.

In earlier careers, Jay first practiced law, becoming a member of the State Bar of both California and New York.  His practice entailed much litigation and culminated in two appearances before the California Supreme Court.  After business school, Jay worked as an investment banker in New York City.

Jay graduated from Yale College and also holds a J.D. from Stanford Law School and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
